Carrot
Born around 14 February 2026.
Meet Carrot: Named after one of the least favorite cake choices, Carrot proves very quickly that being less popular on paper means absolutely nothing when it comes to stealing hearts. With her beautiful ginger coloring and lovely little spots, she has a charm that is impossible to miss and a quiet sweetness that makes her especially endearing. Carrot shares a special bond with Chocolate, the most popular cake choice, and the two of them love spending time together, whether they are tumbling through play or simply staying close to one another. She is a very clever little kitten and was the first of the group to figure out how to use the litter box, which says a great deal about how bright and observant she is. Carrot is not demanding at all and does not fuss for attention, so you have to be the one to offer it to her, but once you do, you will quickly see just how special she is.
Although she can be gentle and undemanding, Carrot has a wonderfully playful side that comes alive when she is in the mood for fun. She loves hiding behind things, watching carefully, and then giving that adorable little bum shake before she pounces into action. She is feisty, full of spirit, and always ready to attack during playtime, which makes her a constant source of entertainment. Together, Carrot and Chocolate are the most playful of the kittens, always finding new ways to tumble, chase, and turn ordinary moments into little adventures.
Chocolate, Carrot, Cheese, and Vanilla are four kittens we rescued from Joe Slovo in February 2026. Their mother, who is less than a year old herself, tested negative for both Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia.
