Meet Vanilla: Named after what many people consider the favorite cake, Vanilla carries all the sweetness her name suggests and more. While Chocolate and Vanilla fans may forever debate which cake deserves the top spot, there is no need for any rivalry here because these little cakes are each irresistible in their own way, and it is very easy to fall in love with both. Vanilla is a deeply loving, quiet, and affectionate little kitten who is happiest when she is being held close and cuddled for a long time. She has a gentle presence that makes her feel especially comforting, and she has the kind of calm sweetness that can melt hearts almost instantly. At the same time, our darling girl is not content to simply sit still forever, because she also loves being everywhere and making herself part of whatever is going on.

Vanilla is the curious one, always watching, wondering, and quietly plotting her next little adventure. She has that wonderful mix of tenderness and mischief, where one moment she is settled in for affection and the next she is looking for a way to explore beyond the boundaries around her. She seems drawn to discovery, always eager to investigate, wander, and see what might be waiting just out of sight. That playful curiosity gives her a lively spark beneath her soft and loving nature, making her both a cuddle bug and a tiny explorer.

Chocolate, Carrot, Cheese, and Vanilla are four kittens we rescued from Joe Slovo in February 2026. Their mother, who is less than a year old herself, tested negative for both Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia.

Vanilla’s ideal home:

• A home that enjoys an active, playful kitten and has time for daily play sessions.
• People who like affection on tap, including kisses and tummy tickles.
• Dog friendly home welcome, especially with a gentle, cat savvy dog and slow introductions.
• A space with enrichment like toys, scratchers, and climbing spots to keep him happily busy.
• Indoor only or access to a very secure garden or catio, with safety first.
