Raven and Ruby
These sweet duo, side by side, bring an air of contentment and relief to those around them. Raven, with her sleek black fur, moves with a sense of quiet grace, her emerald eyes glistening with a newfound peace since leaving the streets. Her coat has begun to shine with health, the signs of her transformation clear with each passing day. Since being taken in by the cat lover on January 10th, 2025, Raven has grown stronger, her weight steadily increasing as her body heals. From a frail 3.45 kgs, she now weighs 3.8 kgs, and the growth of her fur is a true testament to the care she’s receiving. Her once-thin frame has now filled out, and she walks with the confidence of a cat who knows she’s safe, cherished, and cared for.
Ruby, with her striking tortoiseshell coat, has also made remarkable strides. Though her liver enzymes remain slightly elevated, her progress is still a cause for celebration. Ruby is a fighter, and even with the added challenge of blood in her urine, she’s responding well to her medication. Her weight has gone up from 2.75 kgs to 3.06 kgs, and her once-matted fur has started to grow back, a sure sign that her health is improving. Ruby’s eyes, a mixture of curiosity and wariness, show the depth of her past struggles, but she’s adapting to her new home with the quiet determination of a survivor.
Together, these two are thriving. Their bond is stronger than ever, and their shared journey from the streets to a loving home has brought them closer than ever. They may have lived on opposite sides of the road before, but now they share not only space but a renewed chance at life, full of comfort and love.
This update is wonderful to hear, and it’s heartwarming to know that Raven and Ruby are not just surviving but thriving.
