Tiny
Tiny, you lived up to your name,
A shadow of grace, a flicker of flame.
With fur as dark as the quietest night,
You danced through the world, so gentle, so light.
Though small in body, your spirit was vast,
A bright little spark that burned too fast.
Six months you stayed, but forever you’ll be,
A whisper of love in our hearts set free.
You played with your brothers, Midnight and Shadow,
Three little stars in the twilight’s glow.
With paws that chased the light and air,
You filled their days with love and care.
Midnight and Shadow miss you still,
Their little sister, their hearts now fill.
In their games, your presence remains,
In their eyes, your memory sustains.
Though illness came and took you away,
Your light continues to brighten our day.
For in the short time you were here,
You brought us joy, both pure and clear.
Rest now, dear Tiny, in fields so wide,
Where no illness can touch, no fear can reside.
In the warmth of the sun, forever you run,
Our tiny black cat, whose life had just begun.
