Kate
Kate is part of a litter affectionately known by us feeders as “The Royals,” alongside her siblings William, Charles, and Camilla. Born around October or November 2022, their early lives were touched by tragedy when their mother was lost, leaving them to fend for themselves at just 8 or 9 weeks old. The Royals originally numbered five, but sadly, their sister was lost to a tragic accident on the bus lane while still very young. Kate was the first to allow touching and she showed the others that we can be trusted.
Kate was killed by a car on the 9th of November 2024 – she died where she was born.
Our beautiful Miss Muffet – KATE – apparently knocked over and left for dead in Paarden Eiland (how as we thought she was so street wise) but a Good Samaritan saw it happen and ran up to her to help her but she succumbed to her injures. He kindly buried her as well. KATE – you made our Tuesday night feeds exciting, so worth it and you were always so full of LOVE and the occasional cuddle. You waited for our car…… and we always giggled at how you just knew it was the feeders!! I’m so sorry we never managed to get you off the street like your sister ….. but we will try our darnedest to get George and William a home – they miss you terribly and so do we!!
