Meet Maverick: Maverick is a born hunter who takes his play very seriously, and once he catches something he does not let go. He is focused, clever, and endlessly entertaining to watch, especially when he is stalking toys like they are on a mission. Maverick can be a little careful at first, preferring to observe and decide if you are worth his trust. Once you are in his circle, he flips the switch and brings that same enthusiasm to affection, leaning into pets and revving up a happy purr. With a patient home and steady routines, Maverick becomes a loyal little shadow with a playful heart. Maverick, Storm and Crunchy are among the eight kittens we rescued from Epping.

- A home that understands he may need a bit of time to trust, with calm and consistent handling.
- People who enjoy interactive play, because he loves chasing, catching, and “winning” his toys.
- A home with enrichment like wand toys, balls, scratchers, and climbing spots to keep his hunter brain busy.
- A gentle household that can respect his pace, then enjoy the big purrs and cuddles once he settles.
- Indoor only or access to a very secure garden or catio, with safety as the priority.
