Meet Cheese: Named after some of the most divine cakes. Cheese is our only little boy, and he makes sure everyone knows he has his own special place in the group. From the very first bottle, he proved himself to be the best drinker, latching on with complete determination and holding fast as though it were a matter of life and death. There is something both hilarious and endearing about the sheer seriousness he brings to feeding time, as if the whole world depends on him getting every last drop. He has that wonderful Garfield sort of charm about him, with an attitude that seems to say, “Love me, feed me, never leave me,” and honestly, it suits him perfectly. Cheese is the kind of kitten who knows what he wants and has no shame about making his priorities very clear. He also has a rather unfortunate habit of pooping on his sisters in his sleep, which has made him both the most lovable and the most suspicious sleeper in the family.

Beneath that funny and food devoted personality, Cheese is an irresistible little darling with all the sweetness and charm you could hope for in a kitten. His strong start with the bottle showed his spirit early on, and that same determination gives him a lovely sturdy character that makes him stand out. He brings a special energy to the group as the only boy among his sisters, adding his own brand of personality to this little family of cake named kittens.

Chocolate, Carrot, Cheese, and Vanilla are four kittens we rescued from Joe Slovo in February 2026. Their mother, who is less than a year old herself, tested negative for both Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia.

Cheese’s ideal home:

• A home that enjoys an active, playful kitten and has time for daily play sessions.
• People who like affection on tap, including kisses and tummy tickles.
• Dog friendly home welcome, especially with a gentle, cat savvy dog and slow introductions.
• A space with enrichment like toys, scratchers, and climbing spots to keep him happily busy.
• Indoor only or access to a very secure garden or catio, with safety first.
